Say buh-bye to those boring fairy princess days. The Barbies going under Christmas trees this year have gotten a makeover, dumped Ken and found a surfing Australian heartthrob ("Blaine").
"Cali Girl" Barbie hangs out at a number of watering holes, including the communal pool with lifeguard chair and shower. She even rents boogie boards, surfboards, inline skates, snorkeling gear and skateboards from the Hang Ten Surf Shop.
And it's not just Barbie who's hipped up her act this holiday season with all things aquatic.
The trendy Bratz-Pack dolls "kick it" at their own Sun-Kissed Summer Splash 'n' Dance Pool Party. Cloe, Nevra, Dylan and the gang can cool off on lounge chairs by the pool, or sip pineapple drinks at the smoothie bar while listening to music front the boom box.
Kids can also pretend to be back at the waterpark with Polly Pockets Wild Waves Castle. Polly's park comes with two twisting waterslides, waterfall, swing, large inflatable pool and fashionable swimwear accessories.
