WOMEN and Middle-class teenagers are now as likely to gamble as betting shop punters because of the Internet casinos boom and are at risk of becoming addicted, according to new research.

More than 64 per cent of online punters are now women, and the typical Internet gambler is a middle-aged housewife, a study by Internet tracking agency Nielsen has found.
