Now, with the stands emptying and the clubhouse rollicking, the youngster sought out his father to remind him.

For the father, catcher Ivan (Pudge) Rodriguez, the night was still a blur of tension, heroics and disbelief. But it really happened. The Florida Marlins had won the 2003 World Series. Defeated the New York Yankees, four games to two.
