UPDATE

(TORONTO) Canada's largest feminist organization is back in operation.

The National Action Committee on the Status of Women (NAC) has received funding from Status of Women Canada, although the funding still falls short of what the umbrella organization needs.

The funding comes in the form of a two-year project to study the impact of government's economic policies on the advancement of women's equality rights in Canada, and women's organizations.
