2004 SEP 22 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Nobel Biocare introduced the new NobelEsthetics offering of crowns, bridges and abutments.
Building upon the success of individually designed dental prosthetics with the Procera System, the long-awaited launch includes two-to-four unit ceramic bridges for natural teeth and implants, a new CAD/CAM based scanner and a new dental ceramic porcelain system.
This new offer meets the raising patient request of metal free esthetic treatments. To support the increasing demand for the innovative Procera line, the company also opens its first Nobel Biocare Ceramic Training Center in Stockholm.
NobelEsthetics is a complete esthetic solution concept for all indications, encompassing all Nobel Biocare brands for both natural and implant-secured teeth. NobelEsthetics is based on the Procera System, a unique industrialized process for individually designed crowns, bridges, laminates and abutments with more than 5 million fabricated units.
NobelEsthetics solutions now include the Procera Zirconia Bridge - a two-to-four unit bridge that can be used in any part of the mouth. The new bridge is custom milled from a solid piece of zirconia, the strongest ceramic available on the market (strength of 1121 Mpa), offering the ideal combination of high esthetics and strength.
The new scanner that is launched simultaneously, Procera Forte, features a new, advanced software that offers powerful features for users. These include the ability to handle larger preparations such as bridges, adjacent teeth and bite registration.
Nobel Biocare's new porcelain material, NobelRondo, introduced earlier this summer at the Esthetics Congress in Venice, is an easy-to-use, ergonomically designed ceramic porcelain system that offers high-end esthetics and, with a flexural strength of 120 Mpa, unprecedented strength in porcelain crowns.
