Dr. Daniel J. Wechter strongly agrees with "the ban on partial-birth abortions," apparently with very little knowledge of the subject he so adamantly supports (June 1, 2004, p. 9).
Since the term Dr. Wechter used is not one accepted in any medicine texts, books, or journals dealing with the subject matter, he purposely used the invented term to scandalize and to inject the word "birth" as a way to arouse the emotions of readers.
