The players' pool for World Series shares is formed from 60 percent of the gate receipts from the first three games of the Division Series and 60 percent of the gate receipts from the first four games from the League Championship Series and World Series. Here is the clubby-club breakdown:

World Series Champion

Florida Marlins (Share of Players' Pool: $14,890,840.61; Value of each full share: $306,149.92).

American League Champion

New York Yankees (Share of Players' Pool: $9,927,227.07; Value of each full share: $180,889.71)

League Championship Series Runners-up

Chicago Cubs (Share of Players' Pool: $4,963,613.54; Value of each full share: $92,517.71)
