Single Chip for LCD TV.(first single chip solution)

Royal Philips of The Netherlands (5600 MD, Eindhoven, The Netherlands; Tel: 31-40-272-20-91) launched the TDA15500 single chip solution for low-end LCD TV sets. It is the first single chip solution that provides manufacturers of LCD TV sets features such as video decoding, picture improvement, de-interlacing and scaling, sound entertainment, and a microcontroller with teletext.
