In the kickoff meeting to introduce TeamNEO, Northeast Ohio's cooperative effort to promote entrepreneurial ventures, the program was rolling along smoothly until almost the end. "What will happen," asked one of the last questioners, who was obviously from Akron, "when we get a hot prospect who wants to build a business here in Northeast Ohio? Are Akron and Cleveland going to have to fight it out like they usually do?"

There were laughs all around, and several civic leaders were quick to take the mike to assure everyone that from that minute forward we were all going to be one happy family. Bygones were bygones.
