I am responding to David Guthrie's letter in the Nov./Dec. 2003 issue.
Lightning did strike our pool.
It was in the '80s. The lifeguard on deck at that time had cleared the pool area and was on deck when the strike happened. A patron was in the shower at the time and did receive a minor shock.
