Sophomore Superb In Blanking Los Alamos
The dog pile hit Albuquerque Academy pitcher Sean Murray shortly after third baseman Chris Alexander scooped up the final ground ball of the morning and threw to first to end the Class AAA baseball championship game.
Murray, a sophomore, allowed just three hits and four walks in tossing a 7-0 shutout over Los Alamos at the Sports Stadium on Saturday to give the Chargers their first baseball state championship.
