Standard & Poor's online service, Fund Advisor, completed a review of the different mutual funds designed to educate children and allow parents to contribute to their child's savings. In its analysis, Fund Advisor found that the performance of these funds did not necessarily justify the extra costs or restrictive structures imposed on its shareholders.
