NEW ORLEANS -- Several types of nonmalignant lesions respond well to cryosurgery, Dr. Ronald R. Lubritz said at a dermatology update meeting sponsored by Tulane University

Nonmalignant lesions don't require freezes of extensive depth or duration, and virtually no preoperative procedures are necessary. Dr. Lubritz, a dermatologist in private practice in Hattiesburg, Miss., shared tips on cryosurgically treating a range of lesions:
