Too many people packed into too small a space. Not enough food or water. Scorching heat. Difficult access to medical attention.
That's what disgruntled fans say they will remember most about Monday's Lilith Fair concert, which drew at least 16,000 people to Bernalillo.
Some concertgoers are seeking ticket refunds and others are writing letters to the editor. The Lilith Fair Web site bulletin board continues to receive messages of outrage.
And fans are not the only ones complaining.
On Thursday, the head of the University of New Mexico emergency medical team said the situation was a recipe for disaster.
"Because of the crowd and the way it was inappropriately laid out, it took us on one occasion 40 minutes to go from the medical tent to the front of the stage just to pick up a patient," said Don Womble, supervisor of emergency medical services for the show. "Then it took about another 20 minutes to get him out and brought back to our clinic."
