You know how important it is to check your bike's tire pressures regularly, yet this minor maintenance task is one of the--if not the--most neglected. Combine a heavily laden touring or other motorcycle with a slow leak or underinflated tires and you're asking for accelerated tire wear, if not outright disaster. But heck, most motorcycles have warning lights for low oil pressure, high-beam and so on, so why not low tire pressure?
