PHOENIX, ARIZ. -- There's an important difference between patients who want a cosmetic procedure, such as injections of botulinum toxin, and those coming in for a clinical problem, according to Dr. Seth Matarasso.
"The cosmetic patients demand service: They have a larger bill, it's not reimbursed by insurance, and they want to be catered to," Dr. Matarasso said at a meeting sponsored by the Skin Disease Education Foundation.
