ANAHEIM, CALIF. -- Treatment with a radiofrequency device tightened patients' skin tissue enough to measurably lift the eyebrows, although skin tightening may take several months to develop, according to studies presented at the annual meeting of the Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
In a study presented by Dr. Richard Fitzpatrick, who practices in Encinitas, Calif., investigators treated the brows of 86 individuals a single time with the ThermaCool radiofrequency device, using energies of 58-150 J/[cm.sup.2].
