SAN FRANCISCO -- Almost 90% of psoriasis patients receiving three doses of infliximab achieved a 75% improvement in the extent and severity of their psoriasis in the largest-scale study of the intravenous biologic therapy to date, it was announced at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology.

The 10-week results of the 249-patient SPIRIT trial surpass those of any biologic therapy studied in a large group of patients with psoriasis.
