ANAHEIM, CALIF. -- Laser and intense pulsed light procedures are causing rare but serious eye injuries, and physicians should focus more closely on the problem, members of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery said at the society's annual meeting.

They called for the establishment of a Web-based reporting system that would allow physicians to report injuries anonymously so that information can be gathered about how these injuries are occurring and their frequency.
