When the credits for the new DreamWorks film "Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas" roll later this week, viewers will see the names of two former residents of Southern Nevada, Patrick Roberts and Richard Daskas, whose creative talents helped create the animated feature.

Roberts, 35, always thought he'd become a physicist. But he found physics a bit boring. After tapping into his creative side and teaming it with his self-taught computer skills, Roberts entered the world of moviemaking. He is a 3-D effects developer for DreamWorks.
