Larry Himes was one of the men most responsible for the baseball fortunes in Chicago from 1986-94. He traded for Sammy Sosa twice, which by itself probably makes him a legend in Chicago.
Himes, now a Baltimore Orioles scout who attended the 51s' 9-3 victory over the Tucson Sidewinders on Saturday night, acquired Sosa from Texas when he was running the White Sox, then got Sosa from the Sox while he was with the Cubs.
