Delia Woo was one angry mama Friday.
"I am furious every time I hear the words 'special session,' " the jewelry saleswoman said during her lunch break at the Meadows mall food court.
"I blame everybody," she said about the stalemate at the Legislature. "They didn't work hard enough and they didn't prioritize," said the mother of two, a registered nonpartisan originally from the Philippines.
She's incensed that the standoff is costing taxpayers $50,000 a day in expenses for the two special sessions, a tally that hits $700,000 today, money that she said could be better spent.
Interviews with 10 registered voters at the food court showed the 39-year-old Woo is not alone.
