It's a mixed blessing to be a stage hypnotist in the age of reality TV.
On the plus side, there is no shortage of volunteers. We are our own TV stars now, so why leave the stages of Las Vegas to the pros?
Sure, a magician might pull you up for one trick. But hypnosis is the only guaranteed way to get a decent amount of stage time, perhaps explaining the current boom on the Strip.
