Mayor Oscar Goodman successfully sought the resignation of Las Vegas Housing Authority Commissioner Christopher Hoye on Wednesday after learning Hoye did not reside in the city as required by law.
"I told him he is off the housing authority board and I expect a letter of resignation," Goodman said.
The mayor asked the Las Vegas police officer to step down earlier this month from the board, which oversees the troubled agency, with fellow Commissioner Beatrice Turner....
