The North Las Vegas Police Department arrested one of its patrol officers Tuesday on charges that he exposed his genitals to a child, and police officials refused to release basic information about the case.
Officer Kevin B. Hugins, 33, was booked into jail Tuesday evening on a felony count of lewdness with a child under 14 and a gross misdemeanor count of open or gross lewdness.
Hugins, whose wife also works for the police department, was released from the Clark County Detention Center at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday after posting bond in lieu of $15,000 bail.
