NEWS FROM THE WEST

NORTH VALLEY -- A maze of maize cut into a corn field in a portion of Anderson Field will be open to visitors starting Saturday.

Rio Grande Community Farms created the labyrinth, which is in the shape of a dragon.

It's one of 12 similar mazes around the world that was planned by an English maze designer.

A 10-foot tower is being built so volunteers can keep a watch on the maze.
