While it doesn't contain cholesterol, not all vegetable oil is healthy unsaturated fat. Palm oil is widely used in the food industry (both fast and processed) and is 50% saturated fat, while coconut oil is 90% saturated--and saturated fat is worse news for your arteries than cholesterol itself.
