ANGLE: The two long borders with Canada in the north and Mexico in the south offer the U.S. plenty of opportunity for trade, but they also offer terrorists an easy way to slip into the country. That was one of the chief topics at the Bush ranch today when the president sat down with the leaders of both our neighbors.

WENDELL GOLER, FOX NEWS WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): The president offered his highest honor, an invitation to his Texas ranch to the country's closest neighbors, after the leaders gave their cabinet secretaries 90 days to come up with plans to tighten the borders, increase security at ports and airports, and to increase energy and trade production.
G. BUSH: I look forward to our ministers reporting back with concrete action. They will be held to account, you're right, Mr. Prime Minister.
