The aquatics industry was struck by the sudden passing of Ron Rhinehart, vice president of Jeff Ellis & Associates, on January 9. He was 55. Rhinehart was in Phoenix to administer the National Aquatic Safety School, which he was instrumental in developing. He passed away in his sleep. He was to be married in February to his fiancee, Denise Watson. A resident of Albuquerque, N.M, Rhinehart taught in local schools and coached swimming and diving for many years.
