We have a confession to make, and it's not that we love sport quads and racing, because you already know our infatuation with all things sporty and fast. We'd like to confess our fondness for some of the modern-day four-wheel-drive four-wheelers. In this day and age, to ignore the growing niche of sport utility ATVs would be, well, ignorant.

Don't think for a minute we'd choose a hefty 4WD quad over a 450R or YFZ, especially for an MX event or serious race setting. We would, however, entertain the idea of spending a day on the sport market's overweight cousins. We recently spent a few days riding Suzuki's new juggernaut SUATV, the King Quad 700, and Yamaha's impressive Kodiak 450 with IRS. We were reminded of how fun and sporty these big-bore brutes can be.
