An unforgettable journey into history was completed Friday night when Centennial senior Jordyn Bowen scored just before the buzzer to wrap up her team's fourth consecutive Class 4A girls state championship.
Bowen's shot was not the game-winner, but it put an exclamation point on the careers of four seniors who never ended a season with a loss.
The Bulldogs beat Reno 51-45 before an estimated crowd of 1,500 at the Orleans Arena.
