Construction employment led Nevada's job growth through the year's first five months, but local contractors say it's still difficult to find qualified employees in the industry.
Overall, Nevada posted a 4.6 percent increase in total employment to 1.13 million, the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco reported in its Western Economic Developments report.
Construction accounted for about 110,000 of those jobs, up 12 percent from a year ago.
