Which summer TV show best marked Kenny Loggins' stature in the music business?
Was it his guest shot on "Method & Red," the Fox sitcom where Loggins played himself? The script concocted a plot where title rapper Method Man had longstanding issues with the mellow singer, barking"Loggins!" any time his snooty suburban neighbor mentioned her hero.
"The younger audience is cool with it," Loggins says with a chuckle. "My old-time fans were wondering why I would do that. But the point is to reach a new audience. The point is to turn somebody on to what you do."
