A fire damaged or destroyed six vacant mobile homes Thursday at a complex that Las Vegas officials closed in April after labeling it a safety hazard.
Firefighters found three mobile homes engulfed in flames when they arrived at Sky Vue Mobile Home Park shortly after 1 p.m.
Firefighters broke into the vacant park, on the corner of Owens Avenue and Main Street, by cutting through the entrance gate with saws. Southern winds aided the flames, which spread to the other mobile homes.
Nobody was injured...
