Retail developer Triple Five Nevada has reportedly closed escrow on 65 acres in the northwest Las Vegas Valley with plans to build a 2 million-square-foot enclosed "super" regional mall, sources said Wednesday.

The land was purchased from Montecito Cos., a company headed by Frank Nielsen that is developing Montecito Crossing near U.S. Highway 95 and Centennial Parkway.
