Tension in Landhi as two slain men laid to rest.
Karachi, July 07 (PPI): Tension gripped the entire area of Landhi no 4 here on Tuesday, when angry mob tried to attack Landhi police station and pelting traffic with stone to protest the murder two real brothers, who were shot down by bandits on resistance on Monday. The whole area had been tense from Monday noon when two real brothers, Rashid 36 and Sajid, 31 were gunned down by bandits as they offered resistance during robbery in their shop, within the limits of Awami Colony police station. Shopkeepers closed down their businesses and protested against police. The market when two men were gunned down is located just opposite the Landhi police station. The shopkeepers and citizens continued their protest on Tuesday and blocked roads. They raised slogans against police. A neighbouring shopkeeper, Mohammad Ali, talking to PPI said that people were angry as the incident took place just opposite the Landhi police station ...
