Wolverine has grossed more than U$150 million worldwide in its first week in release. Our Hugh Jackman is behind the project as producer, and it was him who brought it to Australia. It doesn't matter if the end result is flawed in its execution or controversial in its story (read Alex Proyas' Knowing), these films are injecting money into the local economy, and reminding the US -and other countries- that we're far away, but we're worth the trip down under And you all know this industry is so competitive everywhere that people need those reminders.
