Buenos Aires -The major national television networks reported shortly after 1800 [ 2100 gmt] that Nestor Kirchner had won in Buenos Aires Province, while Gabriela Michetti had carried the city of Buenos Aires.

The Cronica TV news channel was the first to air a position on exit polls by way of a "Kirchner won" graphic.

Then, the Todo Noticias channel said that there was "parity", although it clarified that there was an "advantage for Nestor Kirchner".
