FREDERICK, Md. (AP)--When asked how long she's been drawing, Keight Kramer laughed and said she began when she was "little-little." But she didn't get really serious until sixth or seventh grade.

"I've been drawing since I was 3 or 4 years old," the 20-year-old said. "I still have stuff at home from when I was in preschool and kindergarten."

Now she also has art hanging in Frederick Community College's juried spring show. A second-year student, Kramer won three awards in the exhibition. Her huge textured black, gray, blue and white portrait of wild-looking James Newell Osterberg Jr., also known as Iggy Pop, took first place in watercolor.
