The former Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ganiyu Adekeye has urged Niger Delta militants to accept the amnesty offered them by President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua.

Adekeye who said this yesterday while fielding questions from newsmen shortly after receiving the 2009 'Arewa Inspiration Leadership Award' conferred on him by the Joint Northern Youth Association (JNYA), advised the militants to drop their arms and join in nation building.
