Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama said yesterday that Sri Lanka's admittance to the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) led by China and Russia as a dialogue partner was a victory of the proactive foreign policy of President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

"I consider this admittance as an important achievement in terms of Sri Lanka's wide international engagement," said Mr. Bogollagama.
