A horse-drawn carriage carrying two women was travelling along Moor Bottom Road towards Rochdale Road at Greetland in Halifax when the horses bolted, crossed a road junction, cleared a set of steel railings and jumped over a wall. The horses and carriage then fell down a ravine, falling approximately 20 feet. One horse fell to the ground below, but the second - and the carriage - became tangled in trees.
