Section: General News - Culture Minister, Teera Salukpetch, has proposed a joint Thailand-Cambodia registration of Preah Vihear Temple as a world heritage site.

Mr. Teera talked about the registration of Preah Vihear Temple as a world heritage site and decided to oppose the registration.

An official letter of objection would be sent to the World Heritage Headquarters and the World Heritage Committee. Also, the Cabinet must be updated about the reaction of Thailand before the 33rd World Heritage Committee meeting in Spain during June 22-30. As a non-member of the World Heritage …
