Khartoum, 16 June 2009 - The National Election Commission has launched a three-day orientation conference of members of Elections High Committees in Khartoum.

Speaking during the opening session at the Al-Salam Rotana Hotel in Khartoum on Tuesday [16 June], NEC Chairman, Mawlana Abel Alier, urged the members of the Elections High Committees to be "credible and impartial" when they carry out their duties during election process.
