Palestinian news agency WAFA launches Hebrew-language web page.

On 15 June, it was observed that PNA (Palestinian National Authority) Presidency-controlled news agency WAFA launched a Hebrew language web page, available at hebrew.wafa.ps. This is the same URL that WAFA used for its Hebrew page in 2004-2006.

A report on WAFA in Arabic at 0956 gmt reads: "The Hebrew web page carries breaking news on daily events in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, as well as activities of Palestinians in the lands occupied in 1948. It reflects different views and contains various sections, among them women, economy, finance and business, art and culture, sports, news analyses and stories, all aimed at Israeli public opinion.
