This will be my last "Polyphony" column for American Music Teacher, as AMT is moving in a new direction. My gratitude goes to the AMT staff for their skill, insight and help with this column. The wonderful changes in AMT over the years can be attributed to an insightful and dedicated staff. For all of the teachers who have so enriched my life and enlivened my teaching through the tenure of this column, I give you my utmost thanks and gratefulness.
