Thank you for publishing the two articles by Patrick Krey in your February 2, 2009 issue ("Any Volunteers for National Service" and "At Uncle Sam's Service"). We are anxious to see more articles written by this well-informed, courageous writer.
I wish to make one comment regarding the female Israeli draftees: they may not do much other than serve coffee, but they are all trained to kill, and they are all trained to protect their own people.
