MEPCO raids Mukhtaran Mai's home, detects power theft.

Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) Jatoi Sub division and Police jointly conducted an operation at the residence of Mukhtaran Mai and detected the power theft at site. MEPCO spokesman Jamshed Alam Niazi said that Power was being stolen to electrify Mukhtara Mai foundation offices, Women Crisis Centre, Dairy Farm and residence.

He said that power connections of Mukhtaran Mai's brothers Hazoor Bakhsh and Abdul Shakoor were already disconnected due to non-payment of bill.
