WHAT IT CLAIMS: Gently and gradually lightens blonde hair without bleaching or depositing dye, according to the company. WHAT'S IN IT: Lactic acid, glycerin, and silicone. HOW IT WORKS: Lactic acid breaks down bonds in the hair's pigment, lightening it with continued use. Glycerin, a humectant, helps retain moisture; silicone in the conditioner helps seal the cuticle of the hair to make it shinier and less likely to frizz.
