Edo State wants the Federal Government to fast track the processes that would enable the Joint Task Force (JTF), established by the state government to check the activities of kidnappers and armed robbers, commence operation.

The Deputy Governor of the state, Dr Pius Odubu, who made the appeal in Benin City weekend while reacting to the kidnap of a Benin high chief and Transporter, Chief John Adun, recalled that the state governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, had recently called on the President about the issue …
